Watercolors, oils, monotypes done on a printing press, and more recently collages are all the mediums Annette loves to work in.She has studied at The Art Lab and the College of Staten Island, Art Students League and the National School of Design, NYC.
She is an active member of South Shore Artists Group, Artists Federation and former president of Staten Island Artists Association.
In 1999 Annette's watercolor entitled Poppy and Me received first prize in a contest of the International Year of Older Persons. The painting is in a time capsule at the College of Staten Island which will be opened in the year 2049. It reflects the inter-generational relationship with the senior community.
She has received three beautiful thank-you notes from former President George Bush and his wife, Barbara, for her paintings of the presidential compound in Kennebunkport, Maine. They are now in the Texas A @ M Library.
In 2005 when the tsunami caused major devastation Annette's watercolor prints Bridging the Gap raised $2,000 from private donations.
